OK so at runefest a totally incredible construction rework was discussed over the ‘future runescape’ session. The ideas presented there have got me so aroused plus a hot mess – I can not Wait for a dev team to have working on these ideas and acquire cheap runescape account them in to the game. I’d like hallways and resizable rooms!!
However! There is one easy trouble with installing this rework into your game that has come up i believe. When reworked, old houses will clearly become obsolete – now whether you decide to nuke everyone’s houses or leave them as is, the truth is many people might be having to deconstruct all of their houses and starting from scratch. This presents a massive issue – lots of people have sunk ten’s of millions of GP to their homes, myself included. I would feel simply terrible and irrational ripping all of those resources from the ground and throwing them, through the magic stones used in demonic thrones towards gold leaves used by altars and beds.
This brings me to my idea : When the rework occurs, have an substitute for demolish your complete home – a demolition that might cost some sum of GP (woot money sinks), that may also interpret the many resources used for the piece of furniture in your house, and return all resources for the players bank.
Construction is broken. Perhaps you have gone to a house and thought, it is really an interesting place. Ever walked into a house and truly considered to yourself : Dang, mike geary knows how to design a nice house. Simple answer there is no. Houses are so generic and bland atm. Rooms are extremely exactly the same size, there isn’t any variation in the way the rooms look from property to property other than what furniture you devoted. Construction attempted to put something into the runescape 2007 gold game and failed at it, simple as that – it’s like MMG said, create inevitably be in another person’s house unless you’re applying their altar. *95pjijl6
